Important Rule Change - Bring on your ideas!

It's been a busy time for all of us, with many intriguing social activities and other hackathons to attend.  Therefore, many folks who were interested in building an idea simply felt like they didn't have enough time or couldn't find a partner.

As such, if there are no actual demonstrations for tomorrow's Judging Day, we will judge short pitches for application ideas.  We will award up to one prize: the winning idea will be implemented over the course of the next several months by the Dallas Makerspace Civic Hacking Committee members and other interested area developers.

On the other hand, if we get at least one team capable of presenting a project in a working, demonstrable state, then the original rules will stand.

So, write down your ideas in the form of a ChallengePost submission, and perhaps we'll judge it and implement it!  No need to be present at the Dallas Makerspace in order to submit an idea, but it would be helpful if we could discuss it and massage it into the best possible idea.  Remember, if you are presenting a project, then you will be required to demonstrate it in person.
